Aditi Maithreya

Art, design and writing inspire me. I see the world through the eyes of a writer, designer, artist and pianist. As an aspiring journalist, I hope to bring to light stories of human interest which can initiate social change in the larger context. I am passionate about educating people using visual media like graphics and illustrations and photographs to give my readers a better picture.

Travel, art, music, social issues and problems and reviews take centrestage in my pieces. I like writing opinionated pieces apart from the accurate reporting of incidents and events. An admirer of the performing arts, I am interested in covering theatre and dance too. Finally, architecture & history have always caught my attention. I would like to do feature stories on these topics.

The sheer power of social media to integrate traditional media to educate and inform people intrigues me. I began blogging in April 2014. I have realised the impact and influence it enjoys. Both my blogs have differentiated pieces. Ink and Paper will largely focus on professional, researched, accurate pieces of information for news reports and features. Writer’s Studio expresses my creative side having many opinionated pieces and personal experiences.

My passion for design led me into becoming an entrepreneur. You can take a look at my artwork on my Facebook page by following this link:

Well, to all my readers and followers, I would like to thank you for trusting my pen and my words.
